What is a Amazonica? A three dimensional, transforming origami package. An all cardboard box for candy or cookies.
How does it work?

The flutted cylinder opens into a flutted tray with a central handle. The lower flutes are connected with adhesive or a string, cinching them together. The upper flutes are free to expand open.

Why Amazonica? The open shape is reminiscent of the giant Victoria Amazonica water lily.
Variations? Square or oval containers of different aspect ratios, for example, a pocketbook or jewel case. Fabric, paper, plastic, leather or wood.
